CARPET•TUG
Unique 500kg Winching System
Loading or unloading is made easy with CARPET•TUG, simply by attaching the wire rope to a webbing harness looped around the end of the roll.
ADJUSTABLE TO FIT ANY VEHICLE BODY WIDTH The winch system is housed inside the slim beam, which is adjustable to suit any body width.
A cleverly designed central rotator allows the rope to pass in any direction outside or inside the vehicle.
The operator controls the winch with a wanderlead, long enough to enable him to operate from either inside or outside the vehicle.
The winch can move rolls of carpet of up to 500kg in weight.

HELPS TOWARDS COMPLIANCE WITH EU MANUAL HANDLING REGULATIONS The original BHW CARPET•TUG went into service over 12
years ago and since then 5m broadloom is available making the rolls much heavier and even more difficult to man handle during delivery.
Back problems account for a high percentage of working days lost to industry, particularly in the carpet business.
New EU regulations regarding machinery and its safe use
have also been recently introduced, emphasising the
requirement to provide manual handling aids for staff
involved with the delivery process.
